Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data VOK Studio collects on vokstudio.co and through our playtest list, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

01Who we are

VOK Studio is an independent mobile studio in Istanbul, Türkiye, making apps and games. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean VOK Studio, the data controller for the processing described here. You can reach us at hello@vokstudio.co.

Each of our apps and games has its own privacy notice, linked from its store listing, that describes what that product collects. This page covers the website and the playtest list.

02What we collect

• Playtest sign-ups. The email address you enter, so we can invite you to closed tests on Google Play. Closed tests on Google Play use the email of your Google account. The list is stored with Cloudflare, Inc.
• Messages. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) to deliver and protect the site.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other sites.

03Why we use it

• To send playtest invitations and related updates, based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
• To answer your messages, based on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
• To keep the website running and secure, based on our legitimate interest.

04Who we share it with

We don’t sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, our email and our tests (Cloudflare for hosting, email forwarding and the playtest list, and Google for Play Console tests), and with authorities when the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside Türkiye, for example in the EU or the US. When that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law.

05How long we keep it

• Playtest list: until you leave the list or the test program ends, then deleted within 30 days.
• Emails: as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than 2 years.
• Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider, normally no more than 30 days.

06Your rights

Under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent and get a copy of your data. Email hello@vokstudio.co and we’ll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority in Türkiye or to the data protection authority where you live.

07Children

This website and our playtest list are not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has signed up, tell us and we’ll delete the address.

08Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to the playtest list is limited to the people who run our tests.

09Changes

When this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
